Getting started

Search for VHS in the Extensions view or run:

code --install-extension willibrandon.vhs-tape

For WSL, SSH, or Dev Containers, install it in that host.

Open any .tape file. The status bar should say VHS.

Set Shell bash
Set Theme "Charmbracelet"

Type "echo hello"
Enter
Sleep 1s

Install VHS plus ffmpeg and ttyd to run tapes.
