Privacy and trust

Editing features run locally and do not send tape contents anywhere.

The extension never runs VHS until you use a run or validate command, or enable validation on save. Execution is disabled in untrusted, virtual, and browser workspaces.

Preview pages use a strict content security policy and only load declared output files.
